Ibrahim is a dynamic communications professional with over 9 years of experience in the tech, human rights, and policy sectors, specialising in the digital use and implementation of human rights, data, and technology for social change. Ibrahim is proactive in self-directed learning, possessing foundational knowledge in advocacy, communications, AI, data, and human rights.

Prior to joining DIAL in 2024 as a Communications Advisor, he devoted over nine years to spearheading communications strategies for organisations in Eastern and Southern Africa such as Pollicy. In these roles, Ibrahim led initiatives on digital research dissemination and campaigns on data governance across the African continent, spanning areas like digital rights, digital inclusion, online gender based violence and more, all with the overarching goal of driving positive change.
