Ritul Gaur

Bio

Ritul is a Policy Advisor at the Digital Impact Alliance. He brings together a blend of technology policy and diplomacy. His area of work includes research and advocacy around digital public infrastructure (DPI).

Before joining DIAL, he was a University of Chicago’s International Innovation Corps (IIC) fellow with the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India, where he was part of the core team that led the G20 consensus on DPI in the Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG). In the past, he has also worked with the World Bank’s ID4D on a National ID Project in Nepal.

He started his professional career with two prominent think tanks in India, namely the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy and the Takshashila Institution, where he focused on policy research and engagement. He is a long-distance runner and an avid ping pong player.
