We believe peer learning is an essential tool to advance positive digital transformation. That's why we created Digital Donors Exchange.
Everyone should benefit from the power of trusted digital technology. Yet today, billions of people around the world remain unconnected and left behind.
The Digital Donors Exchange, or DDX, is a global community of digital development funders who are committed to improving the lives of all people through harnessing that power.
As an alliance of public and private partners, we lean on our capacity to convene the most influential players in digital development. We created DDX as a space for peers to help each other navigate the complex choices they face across funding, project design, governance, and most importantly, how digital technology can build a more equitable world.
DDX serves as an important forum to spotlight new opportunities, advance people-centered strategies, and workshop common challenges.
Our most recent sessions have explored:
- How the ecosystem of actors working in digital public infrastructure (DPI) can help drive climate action through investments in data governance models
- What the emerging DPI field can and should learn from efforts to expand connectivity over the past two decades
- The current demand and emerging frameworks for measuring DPI’s impact on people
The News Byte
In addition to hosting monthly virtual gatherings, the DDX team produces a weekly newsletter: the News Byte.
The News Byte shares relevant news, publications, and updates from the week in digital development. Subscribing is optional, but we think you’ll like it.
