Arjun Gargeyas

Bio
Arjun is a Research Fellow at DIAL. As a student of engineering and public policy, his interests lie at the intersection of science, technology and international development. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Public Policy at Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
He started off his career as an engineer in NVIDIA and Cisco before transitioning into the policy space as a tech policy researcher with the think tank, the Takshashila Institution. He was then a University of Chicago International Innovation Corps (IIC) fellow with the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India, where he was part of the core team that led the G20 consensus on DPI in the Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG). Recently, he also had short stints with the OECD and UNDP working on projects related to digital development.
At DIAL, Arjun will be working in the digital and climate resilience vertical looking at the role of data, digital public infrastructure (DPI) and artificial intelligence (AI) in accelerating the clean energy transition.
