Jonathan Dolan

Bio
Jonathan is the Senior Director of Research at the Digital Impact Alliance, where he leads the organization's efforts to understand how digital transformation is impacting people. Jonathan's research efforts build upon his 15 years of experience working to advance digital inclusion and govern data in ways that maximize people's participation, agency, choice, and trust in the digital economy.
Before joining the Alliance, Jonathan led Future State’s research into models for trusted data sharing and served as a non-resident fellow in New America’s Cybersecurity Initiative. Prior to that, Jonathan led USAID's Digital Inclusion Practice for four years. In this capacity, he served as a member of the Alliance for Affordable Internet's Advisory Council and as a member of the World Economic Forum's Internet for All project. Jonathan has also worked at the International Finance Corporation, where he wrote extensively on emerging business models for digital financial services, mobile-enabled agricultural information platforms, and internet access.
Jonathan holds a MS from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and a BA from Bowdoin College.
